Strong partners
A good partnership is more than simply the sum of its parts. And this is certainly true for the relationship between REMONDIS Maintenance & Services and REYM. Following the integration of the Dutch industrial service provider into the Group, the customers of both companies will now be able to benefit from an even wider range of services as well as from the businesses’ expanded international network.
Both REYM B.V., which is based in Amersfoort, and its associated companies have been part of REMONDIS Maintenance & Services’ operational division since last year. A new arrival that fits in perfectly with the Group’s portfolio of services – both from point of view of expectations and values. With over 700 employees, REYM delivers industrial services to a whole range of different sectors and is one of the largest providers in the Netherlands.
Core business: industrial cleaning
Just like BUCHEN, one of REYM’s main areas of expertise is providing industrial cleaning services. Both companies use state-of-the-art equipment and advanced cleaning technology and both focus on delivering automated solutions. The range of systems they deploy is also alike – from high-pressure jetting, to ultrasound technology all the way through automated cleaning systems (non-man entry). The similar orientation of the two industrial service providers will also pave the way for a whole number of different synergies. And make it possible for them to collaborate and make the very most of each other’s strengths.
Group delivers further benefits
This new set-up creates numerous advantages for REYM’s customers. Besides being able to order the services they have used in the past, they now also have access to BUCHEN’s specialist services, for example its reactor or sludge dewatering services. On top of this, they can make use of XERVON’s technical services such as scaffolding, maintenance work, surface technology and insulation.
Last but by no means least, REYM’s waste management division can now use the REMONDIS Group’s network of 800+ different plants and facilities alongside its usual facilities – further increasing the reliability of its services. The REMONDIS Group’s customers will, in turn, benefit from the company having a greater number of business locations in the Benelux region as well as from some additional services, such as those in the area of geothermal energy.
Safety and quality – the no. 1 priority
All of REMONDIS Maintenance & Services’ operational divisions deliver fast, cost-effective and efficient solutions. Safety and quality, however, always top the list of their priorities. REYM is no exception here. It, too, has many accreditations and is certified in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000 Food and ISO 45001 as well as OHSAS 18001. What’s more, this Dutch company plays an active role in Stichting Industriële Reiniging (SIR), an association promoting health and safety in the industrial cleaning sector. By the way, their many similarities are also reflected in their corporate design – with both companies sporting the colour red.
Professional services for a whole range of industries
Oil and gas
Delivering industrial services to companies operating in the oil and gas industry is one of REYM’s main areas of expertise. Its range of onshore and offshore services covers every aspect of its customers’ business from start to finish – from the first drilling stage, to their everyday operations, all the way through to the decommissioning phase.
Chemicals and petrochemicals
Thanks to its years of experience and in-depth know-how, REYM is able to offer a comprehensive range of cleaning and maintenance services for both chemical and petrochemical plants. These include, for example, cleaning industrial heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers and tanks.
Food industry
REYM develops and implements industry-specific, plant cleaning solutions for companies operating in the food industry. To this purpose, the company has been certified in line with ISO 22000. All corresponding services are HACCP compliant.
Geothermal energy
Geothermal energy is a climate-friendly alternative to fossil fuels. REYM supports the geothermal sector during both the drilling and the production phases. One of REYM’s particular strengths is the fact that it is certified to handle NORM materials.
